Lizzy made a brave journey on her own, travelling to the United Kingdom as cargo with customs clearance arranged accordingly.
Because she needed to transfer flights, her family carefully prepared familiar food and supplies so she could eat right away during the transfer and on arrival.
Lizzy would be apart from her mum for an extended period, so before entering the restricted cargo area, they took time to say goodbye and gave her plenty of encouragement.
The originally scheduled flight had to be adjusted due to operational conditions at the transit airport. Hai Wan stayed in close contact with the airline and our UK agent, then confirmed a revised departure arrangement.
Pet cargo space, just like passenger seats, can still be cancelled or delayed before departure.
After arriving in London, our local agent assisted with customs clearance, and Lizzy’s family collected her from the airport and took her home.
