Because of his size, Kazimir could only travel to Taiwan as manifest cargo. The overseas provider originally arranged for an agent in mainland China, but fortunately, his family noticed this in time and urgently contacted Hai Wan for assistance.
Kazimir entered Taiwan successfully the day before the typhoon dayoff. However, by the time he arrived, the quarantine facility transport vehicle had already finished its service for the day. Under the normal procedure, he would have needed to wait until the following day to be taken to the quarantine facility.
Everyone was concerned that the typhoon dayoff might affect the transport arrangements. Thankfully, we received confirmation the next morning that the vehicle would depart as scheduled, and Kazimir was safely taken to the Guanyin quarantine facility.
Friendly Kazimir had a wonderful time playing with the agency staff while waiting to board his flight in Amsterdam. He will be able to leave the quarantine facility tomorrow. We hope he settles into his new home in Taiwan very soon!
